The study programme of the workshop is aiming at the developing of plastic search of every individual student. Through multiple activities is sought the sharpening of critical thought and the conquest of the artistic biotheory, which is a necessary element for the formation of the art work.

Redetermination of the term design leading to the concept: one form next to the other compared with the architectural perception of the total.
Study after the model the nature as landscape. Addition of heterogeneous materials. Opportunity to contact with other media like performance, happening, installations, video, constructions, digital media, etc.

After studying the model thoroughly for two or three years and obtaining knowledge of techniques and materials at the workshop, the student is led to the structure of a personal vocabulary as well as to the formation of his/her personal style.

The 5th Painting Studio focuses on teaching and free artistic studio research on painting with a more detailed form. It combines the tradition of artistic practice with modern and diverse ideas in the visual arts. Teaching and research on infrastructure "artistic language". The artistic practice with the use of the design or general organization and composition of the pictorial space.




Sculpture Studio

1. Bust is moulded or created as a matter of course.
2. Bust as a matter of course. Figure erection as a matter of course (the figure will be half size of the natural).
3. Figure erection as a matter of course (the figure will be half size of the natural).
4. Figure erection as a matter of course (half or three quarters of the natural size). Obligatory attendance of: Plasterwork/Copper-smelting works/Marble Sculpture.
5. Figure erection as a matter of course (three quarters of the natural size).
6. Figure erection as a matter of course (three quarters of the natural size). Obligatory attendance of: Plasterwork/Copper-smelting works/Marble Sculpture.
7. Figure erection as a matter of course (natural size).
8. Figure erection as a matter of course (natural size) or free-hand sculptural syntheses using various materials such as metal constructions or free-hand elaboration of marble.
9 - 10. Free hand plastic version of the model in any size and touch. Free syntheses. Constructions and experimentations with any material and style. Such an experimentation on the contemporary mainstreams as well as the use of modern materials basically presuppose many and suitable premises.
From the first year of the studies up to the fifth one, Drawing, especially drawing a nude model or various objects is required. Sketches and a variety of free-hand syntheses.



Printmaking Studio

Throughout the Printmaking the student is getting in touch with the opposite way of artistic thought of painting. We leave apart the additive presence of the colour as a material. Here we take out material and then we print the trace that was derived from the wound. We are taking parallel but opposite directions of those of Painting. This kind of research is leading the student to the achievement of his own personal style.
The knowledge of the wood-Printmaking form as well as the intaglio techniques form are pursued through their technical procedures in class, practicing on certain exercises for their consolidation and aiming at the detection of self-personal morphoplastic elements of every student.
